India will look to continue their winning momentum against a beleaguered Sri Lanka in the foruth one-day international of the five-match series on Thursday.

All eyes will be on Mahendra Singh Dhoni who will play his 300th match. The former Indian captain will join the likes of Sachin Tendulkar (463), Rahul Dravid (344), Mohammed Azharuddin (334), Sourav Ganguly (311) and Yuvraj Singh (304) in India's elite 'Club 300'.

Dhoni has been great form in the series and had played a significant role in bailing out the team in two tricky chases against the hosts. The unbeaten knocks of 45 and 67 under pressure is a proof that he is still not finished and he can be valuble asset for the team in the 2019 World Cup.

India may provide some well-needed playing time to players like Kuldeep Yadav, Manish Pandey, Ajinkya Rahane and Shardul Thakur with the series already sealed with an unassailable 3-0 lead.

Virat Kohli, the Indian captain has already hinted that he wants to rotate players.

While India is dealing with the problem of plenty, Sri Lanka will find it hard field a potent first XI.

Dinesh Chandimal has been ruled out of the series with a hairline fracture on his right thumb after enduring a hit in the previous ODI. Stand-in skipper Chamara Kapugedara has been ruled out of the remainder of the series as well, owing to an aggravated back injury

Lasith Malinga will lead the side in his absence with suspended captain Upul Tharanga expected to return in the final ODI on September 3.
