With the group stage of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 coming to an end, the semifinal lineup has been finalised. On the final day of the stage, India easily defeated Sri Lanka in Leeds while Australia lost to South Africa in a close contest that went down to the final over.
It means that after the end of the group stage, India finished at the top of the points table with 15 points while Australia reached 14 points in their 9 matches. India will play New Zealand in the semifinals on July 9 at Old Trafford while the defending champions with face hosts England on July 11 at Edgbaston.
