'Yeh toh shuru hote hi khatam ho gaya,' Twitterati come up with hilarious memes as Motera game gets over in 2 days

Two-day finishes in Test cricket are not a regular occurrence (21 times before), thus it was bound to have some reactions out of ordinary as the Motera crowd and the world over witnessed a bizarre day at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Thursday.

India beat England by 10 wickets and wrapped the game inside two days, as 17 wickets fell on the second day after 13 scalps on the first. England bowled out India for 145 in the first session with hosts taking a 33-run lead, while India came back strongly and skittled out England for 81 in just one session.

The Indian openers finished off the formalities by chasing down 49 runs in just 7.4 overs and helping the home side take a 2-1 lead in the series. While it became the shortest completed match since World War II, it also became the 22nd Test in history to get over in just two days.

The netizens couldn't get past the fact and came up with hilarious reactions, using some of the famous films and TV references. While Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin took 18 wickets combined, pacers from both sides didn't even get to bowl in the second innings.
