The Honours Board has become a common feature in almost all cricket grounds across the globe. The Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) also has one of its own and on Day three of the fourth Test between India and Australia, after piling up a total as huge as 622 for 7 declared, India's centurions Cheteswar Pujara and Rishabh Pant marked their names on the board at the venue.

The official Twitter account of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video that captured the proud moment. The video shows both Pujara and Pant etching their names on the Honours Board.

Pujara is the leading run-scorer of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy with 521 runs at an average of 74. With his grit and concentration, his first hundred of the series came in the opening Test at the Adelaide Oval. After that he had a poor outing in the second Test in Perth and subsequently, India lost the Test and allowed the Aussies to square the series at 1-1.

Since then Pujara has been in top-notch form and has not given anything away to the Aussie bowlers as he recorded his highest overseas score of 193 on Day three of the Sydney Test on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Pant has been at his attacking best in the series but never managed to convert the start into a promising knock until his Sydney knock. On Day three of the fourth Test, Pant scored his second Test ton as he scored an unbeaten 159 and surpassed MS Dhoni's 148 not out he scored against Pakistan in Faisalabad in 2006 for the record of highest Test score by an Indian wicketkeeper.
