India vs Australia 2nd ODI: Another milestone as Virat Kohli becomes 11th highest run-scorer in ODIs

It seems every time Virat Kohli comes down to bat these days he ends up setting a few records and reaching new landmarks. 

On Tuesday, Virat Kohli played another superb inning in the second ODI against Australia. During the innings Virat became the 11th highest run-scorer in ODI cricket history. He went past Tilakratne Dilashan of Sri Lanka who has 10,290 runs. 

While Dilshan scored his runs in 303 innings, Virat took only 210 innings to reach there. 

Virat is expected to break into the top ten soon as there is no active batsman in that list.

Kohli had scored 10,235 runs in 217 matches and 209 innings before the match.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma added 54 runs for the second wicket. It means they have 4117 runs together in ODIs. Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid also added 4117 runs together. However, Kohli and Rohit have done it in 30 fewer innings than Tendulkar and Dravid.
