India's cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar feels the visitors are in the driver’s seat and all set to win the series opener after day three of the first Test match at Adelaide.

“As of now, India is in the driver’s seat and all set to take the game away. Australia need to bowl well in the first session tomorrow to stay in the game, otherwise they go to the next Test down 1-0,” Tendulkar tweeted after the close of play on Saturday.

India have taken a lead of 166 runs thanks to Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli’s 71-run partnership for the third wicket before openers KL Rahul and Murali Vijay provided the tourists a strong start in their second innings.

India took a 15-run lead in the first innings after bowling out Australia for 235 on Saturday morning.

Sachin had been keeping a close eye on the play and has been commenting on the play after every day. Sachin, on Friday, had admitted that he was surprised to see Australia’s defensive mindset in their first innings.

He had also predicted India were very much in the game after the visitors were 250 for 9 after day one. Sachin had tweeted, "The game is wide open at this stage. The way the new ball is used in Australia in the first 15-20 overs is extremely crucial and could very well have an impact on which way this Test could go. #INDvAUS"

India took some quick wickets on day two put Australia under pressure and gain the upper-hand, as Sachin had predicted.
