Team India have declared their first innings after reaching 502 runs for seven wickets on the second day of the first Test match against South Africa at Visakhapatnam on Thursday.

Opener Mayank Agarwal played an incredible knock and secure his maiden test century during an innings of 215 runs. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma scored 176 runs against the Porters in his first innings as a Test opener.

For the tourists, Left-arm spin bowler Keshav Maharaj was the most effective one, picking up 3 wickets for 189 runs.

The teams are contesting a three-match series.
