Virat Kohli and the Indian cricket team left for the long England tour on Saturday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a few pictures of the cricketers chilling at the airport.

Even the Indian skipper Kohli shared a selfie that also had MS Dhoni and KL Rahul captioned as, "Off we go, UK bound!"

At the airport, a young Indian fan named Radha wanted to click a picture with Kohli and the Indian captain made the child's day by clicking a picture with her, which the BCCI shared on Twitter.

India's long tour of UK is set to begin with the Indian team locking horns with Ireland in two Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) before they head to England for a full-fledged series, including five Tests, three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three T20Is.

Unlike the previous few years, the series in England will commence with limited-overs first before the Test series, that is scheduled to begin from August 1.

Kohli, who got injured during the Indian Premier League (IPL) earlier this year and was ruled out from his stint with County side Surrey, has said that he is fully fit ahead of the crucial away tour.

"I am 100% ready to go. The neck is fine now. I've had six to seven sessions in Mumbai. I've had a good practice and I am absolutely ready to go. I went through the fitness test as well so the body is feeling fine.

"I am actually very excited to get back on the field. I wanted to be 100% fit for the tour and wanted to go there fresh. This thing that happened was the best thing although not intended but happened in the best way," Kohli said in a press conference on the eve of Indian team's departure to Ireland.
