Surpassing expectations, Pakistan have made it to ICC Champions Trophy 2017 finals. Their fans are beaming with pride and looking forward to the potentially mind-blowing match against traditional rivals, India.

But if you ask former Pakistan batsman Aamir Sohail, the greens have reached this point by the ways of match-fixing.

Former coach of Pakistan indirectly levelled serious allegations against Sarfraz Ahmed and his men during a TV interview after Pakistan defeated England in the first semi-final of Champions Trophy.

"Sarfraz needs to be told that you have not done anything great. Someone has helped you win the game. There is no reason for you (Sarfraz) to be so happy. We all know what happens behind the scenes. Don’t wish to get into the details on who won them the games. If asked, I will say that the prayers of the fans and God has won them the games. They have been brought to the final due to external factors and not based on on-field performance. The boys now need to be level-headed and focus on playing good cricket," said Sohail in the interview.

Sohail quickly made a U-Turn saying the comment was taken out of context.

Pakistan had a rough start to their Champions Trophy campaign when India defeated them in group stage match on June 4. After that, the team bounced back to beat South Africa, Sri Lanka, and England to cement their place in the final to be played on Sunday, June 18.
