Former Australia fast bowler Doug Bollinger has announced his retirement from all cricket aged 36.
Bollinger took exactly 50 wickets in 12 Tests at an average of 25.9 and 62 wickets in 39 ODIs at 23.9. He also made nine T20 appearances for Australia and played 124 first class matches for New South Wales.
The burly left-armer claimed two five-wicket test hauls, against the West Indies and New Zealand, with a best return of 5-28. He played all of his tests in 2009 and 2010, losing his place after the second match against England in Adelaide during the 2010 Ashes Series. He continued to play first class cricket, taking 411 wickets, and played in the Big Bash T20 season until this year.
Doug also had a memorable stint with Indian Premier League (IPL) outfit Chennai Super Kings (CSK). His 4 for 13 against Deccan Chargers in IPL 2010 will always hold a special place in the hearts of CSK fans.

Can't agree more. The 4/13 against DC in the 2010 @IPL semi-final was a vital cog in the wheel. That catch off Yusuf Pathan would be etched in every yellow fan's heart! #ThankYouDoug for all the amazing memories! https://t.co/0Dsh94qY1D
