He wrote to his estranged wife on Instagram: 4th Marriage anniversary cake for my bebo miss you.”
However, his fans weren’t too pleased and harangued him on Instagram.
One fan named dm fayaz wrote: “Meri baat maano ye jitne bhi pics hasin ke saath liye ho saare ke saare delete kardo .She ain't worth it .is baar vo aap par Alipore court mein domestic violence ka case vapas thok Diya vapas with maintenance.Jab us lalchi aur ghamandi aurat ne 1 saal mein 1.5 crore paise kharcha kiye toh maintenance ki Kya zarurat hai? Kharcha toh mil hi raha hai mahine ka phir Kya tension usko.?”
Another one wrote: “Finally I realised that you're a big c****** Insaan”
Other messages were similar asking him why he was wishing his wife while they go through a bitter court battle.
However, it appears the message could be for his daughter as well. In the last post he had written with a pic of his daughter: “Miss you bebo.”
Hasin Jahan filed a domestic violence case against him and others in Kolkata's Alipore Court on Tuesday.
Jahan also sought maintenance from Shami.
Jahan had earlier filed a complaint against Shami at the Lalbazar police station following which he was charged under various non-bailable and bailable sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including Section 498A which amounts to cruelty to a woman by her husband or his relatives.
Jahan had alleged that Shami abused her physically and mentally and that he was also involved in several extra-marital affairs.
Shami has rejected all allegations.
