MS Dhoni celebrated his 37th birthday in England on Saturday.
Celebrating a teammate birthday by smashing cake on his face has been a long-run tradition in the Indian cricket team.
MS Dhoni turned 37 on Staurday and was not spared like away. Virat Kohli and his boys had a well-planned celebration inspite of the high=pressure England tour underway. The Indian players, who are in UK right now playing a full-fledged series against the hosts, brought two cakes for Dhoni and what made the celebration even more special was the presence of Dhoni wife and daughter.
The little Ziva was made to sit on the table where the cakes were present as Dhoni with his shy smile, cut both the cakes.
"Happy birthday papa, you are getting older," sang Ziva to his father who continues to inspire his teammates and millions of fans. In a video posted by the official Twitter handle of the BCCI, everyone from Kohli to Ziva and wife Sakshi sent their wishes to the former India World Cup-winning skipper.
Meanwhile, the best video was shared by the former captain himself. The video showed the naughtier side of Dhoni, who could be a reasonably good bully. The video showed India’s chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav on the receiving end of Dhoni’s rowdiness.

Entering his 37th year in the backdrop of India's defeat to England in the second T20 International wasn't ideal for a man who is often credited with redefining limited overs cricket.
It wasn't the kind of birthday celebration befitting one of India's finest captains, but that's how Dhoni has always been - quite and simple.
His teammates - past and present - joined in the party as wishes poured in from across the cricket world.
Earlier, Former Indian batsman V. V. S. Laxman also extended birthday wish to the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup-winning captain, saying, ?Wishing you a very happy birthday @msdhoni .May you continue to entertain ,inspire and provide joy. #HappyBirthdayMSDhoni”
Posting a picture of Dhoni at full stretch trying to avoid a stumping, former opener Virender Sehwag tweeted,”#HappyBirthdayMSDhoni. May your life be longer than this stretch and may you find happiness in everything, faster than your stumpings. Om Finishaya Namaha !”
Left-arm pacer R. P. Singh listed out Dhoni’s achievements in his birthday wish, saying Dhoni was one of India’s greatest captains.
