Earlier he hardly used to talk, but now tweets every half hour: Sourav Ganguly ribs Sachin Tendulkar

If there was ever a poll conducted to find out which is the most popular batting jodi in Indian cricket's history, the names of Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly will most-likely come out on top. The left-right batting combination worked wonders for Team India for many years and the duo are rightly recognised as legends of the game. 

On the sidelines of a promotional event in Mumbai on Tuesday, Ganguly shared an interesting conversation he once had with Sachin. Everyone is well aware of the Master Blaster's obsession with high-end cars. Dada, however, doesn't share the same enthusiasm when it comes to four-wheelers.

"For me, cars are just a tool to take me from one place to another. That's it," declared Ganguly. "I once asked Sachin what he does with all his fancy cars. He told me he likes to take them out for a spin at 4.30 am and drive around the streets of Mumbai. I told him I could never do that and wouldn't ever want to own a Ferrari or any such car."

Ganguly also spoke about another facet of Sachin that fascinates him these days. While Virender Sehwag is no doubt the king of social media among cricketers, Sachin isn't too far behind in terms of being active on various platforms.

"During our playing days, Sachin would hardly speak a word," revealed Dada. "He would simply walk the talk on the field. But as of today, I think he sends out a tweet every half an hour or so. Every time I come on Twitter, I see some post from Sachin right on top."
