Virender Sehwag was up to his antics - trolling cricketers on social media - with a hilarious tweet on Sunday.
The former India opener has made a name for himself with his brilliant wit, offering a humorous take on trending topics.
This time around, Sehwag took aim at West Indies batting great Chris Gayle. The Nawab of Najafgarh took to Twitter, his favourite social media platform, and posted a ridiculously funny video of an Indian man dancing at a wedding/birthday party.
The video had a caption: "Name someone and say something." Sehwag chose to tag Gayle in the post, saying, "@henrygayle " urf Chrisenpreet Gill."

Always one to take things sportingly, Gayle was quick to respond with a "Lol" to Sehwag's post.

On Sunday, Sehwag was involved in a prank played by Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kings XI Punjab. The Delhi Dasher is the coach-cum-mentor of the Punjab outfit.
The KXIP website posted a story saying Sehwag will return to the cricket field one more time. They announced that the batting legend will be back in action in their first IPL 2018 match against Delhi Daredevils at Mohali on April 8. The release said that Sehwag will come out of retirement and will open the innings in the absence of Aaron Finch.

Of Course, it was all a prank. Sehwag later posted a video thanking fans and confessing the truth.

Fans had already reacted with appropriate scepticism by fans, as the news came on April 1. Many fans were quick to comment that it was April fool joke by the IPL franchise. However, it was an elaborate joke with KXIP tweeting the news of Sehwag's comeback on Twitter on Sunday morning. Even Yuvraj Singh joined in the fun tweeting that he was looking forward to seeing Sehwag play again.
Yes @virendersehwag has been working very hard in the nets looking forward to see him play again

Ever since Finch announced his unavailability in Punjab’s opening encounter owing to his marriage, the team has been pondering over the right top order combination.
