Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar is all set to coach the  Ricky Ponting lead side in the Bushfire Cricket Bash clash on Sunday.

The match is to raise funds for communities affected by the devastating bushfires in Australia.

Sunday will also see Australia take on England in the women's T20I tri-series.

Knowing the cricketing legend will be present in Australia, the host nation's women's team player Ellyse Perry has sent forth a challenge for the Master Blaster.

The Australian Women's Cricket Team uploaded a video on Twitter captioned, "@sachin_rt, keen for a hit in the middle to rustle up a few more $ for bushfire affected communities?"

In the video, Perry said, "Hey Sachin, it's awesome to have you out here in Australia supporting the Bushfire match.

"I know you're coaching one of the teams but a few of us were sitting around last night chatting and we thought it would be absolutely amazing to see you potentially come out of retirement for one over in the innings break".

The Indian former opener replied to the video saying, "Sounds great Ellyse. I would love to go out there & bat an over (much against the advice of my doctor due to my shoulder injury). Hope we can generate enough money for this cause, & to get me out there in the middle."

First, to be played in Sydney, the Bushfire match has been rescheduled due to expected wet weather in that city.

The game will now be played at Melbourne's Junction Oval in a doubleheader with the Australia v England CommBank T20 Tri-series clash.

The money raised through this match will go to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund.
