David Warner has done wonders with the bat and proved that he can bat with both hands. This time it was Chris Gayle who faced the burn. However, this was not a switch hit.

Captain of Sylhet Sixers, Warner after batting for 32 deliveries into his innings decided to turn into a right-hander. Facing Rangpur Riders' Chris Gayle, Warner slammed 14 in 3 balls at the Bangladesh Premier League. Warner walked in after the fall of opener Sabbir Rahman. He along with Liton Das scored 70 in 43 deliveries.

The Australian first smashed Gayle for a huge six down the ground and then followed it up two more fours to finish with 61 in 36 balls to take his side to a competitive 187/5.

Even commentators could not refrain their excitement as they said, “You have seen this before. Here we go. He goes straight. Classic. I mean it’s gone all the way.”

Warner’s magnificent right-hand batting was seen earlier when he had slammed R Ashwin in a T20I back in 2011-12. His smashed a 100-meter six sixes while playing the switch hit.

Warner, who was banned from playing international and domestic cricket for a year for his involvement in the ball-tampering scandal last year in Cape Town will again be available for Australia selection from 29 March.
