England are currently taking on Australia in a historic run chase on the fourth day of the 3rd test match of the prestigious Ashes series.

The hosts started the day with Joe Root and Ben Stokes at the crease in the morning.

This year, the Ashes series has seen numerous deadly bouncers from pacer Jofra Archer, who managed to injure Aussie batsman Steve Smith with a deadly blow to the head and ruled him out of this match.

Archer also hit Marnus Labuschagne on his helmet grille twice who came in as the replacement of concussed Steve Smith.

However, it was England's Ben Stokes who caught Josh Hazelwood's wicked bouncer to the head in the 76th over.

The Aussie pacer's delivery came at the speed of 83.9 mph and smash Stokes on the side of his helmet. Leaving his helmet into pieces.

The team medic rushed in quickly to have a look and after a thorough checkup, Stokes was allowed to carry on to bat.

England currently need 124 runs to win with six wickets at their disposal.
