"He is nearing 38. Some say he is 45. After watching this catch, I would say he is 32," this comment from the commentary box perfectly summed up the emotions of every cricket as Shahid Afridi pulled off a sensational catch for Karachi Kings on Friday against Quetta Gladiators in a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match.
The former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi took a fantastic catch at the boundary line to dismiss Umar Amin. The batsman has hit a length ball from Muhammad Irfan with a straight bat and it looked like it was going to clear the long-on boundary. However, Shahid Afridi had other ideas. When everyone thought the ball was sailing over the rope, Afridi leaped up and stuck his right hand up and grabbed the ball with one hand. But his momentum was taking him over. So, Afridi tossed it up in the air and then ran back inside to complete the catch. Here's the catch:
OUT! 12.3 Mohammad Irfan to Umar Amin

Karachi registered their first-ever win against the Gladiators in the tournament's history winning by 19 runs. Kings rode on Colin Ingram's 21-ball 41 posting 149/9 in 20 overs. Gladiators' Shane Watson put in a fine display with the ball taking three wickets for 22 runs in his four overs. Chasing 150, Gladiators failed to build partnerships as they kept on losing wickets in regular intervals. Imad Wasim, Tymall Mills and Irfan took two wickets each while Afridi and Mohammad Amir picked one apiece.
