Twenty20 leagues are not just about cricket but much more. They are also about the big names and glamour around the events. Much like its Indian counterpart Indian Premier League (IPL), Pakistan Super League also has plenty of big showbiz names associated with it.
The Pakistan Super League is all set to kick off in Dubai on Thursday. Various celebrities are flying to Dubai to attend the event and to cheer their favorite team.
This year's focus will be on the new host of PSL- Hareem Farooq. The Pakistani actress Hareem Farooq will host the opening ceremony of the third edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) on February 22, 2018 in Dubai.
Hareem Farooq is an award-winning stage, television & film actress as well as a producer behind the blockbuster films Parchi (2018) & Janaan (2016).
“It’s a moment of great pride for me to represent our great nation Pakistan at such a huge platform and that too on international ground! PSL is one of the biggest sporting events for our amazing nation, bringing us together and hosting the opening ceremony is an honor for me as a actor, as a producer and most importantly a Pakistani.” stated Hareem Farooq when talking about hosting the PSL opening ceremony.
Farooq's co-host, Bilal Ashraf added Abida Parveen, Shehzad Roy and Ali Zafar will be performing at the PSL opening ceremony.
