ZEE5 enters partnership with Sri Lanka’s Dialog Axiata

ZEE5, the largest over-the-top (OTT) digital entertainment platform for language content, has entered into a partnership with Sri Lanka’s premier connectivity provider Dialog Axiata PLC. This is ZEE5’s first international partnership in the SAARC region that will see Dialog ViU app users get entertained with over 1 lakh hours of premium regional content, across multiple genres and 12 languages. Additionally, for a price of Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR) 350 per month, Dialog ViU customers will also get access to one of the region’s best content libraries.

As part of its anniversary celebrations, ZEE5 has announced an extensive line-up of 72 new Originals on the platform till March 2020. This includes shows across multiple genres and languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali and Malayalam.

The OTT platform has also introduced an anniversary offer where subscribers can avail a 30% discount on both annual subscriptions – all access (Rs 999) and regional (Rs 499), as well as an additional 50% cashback on Paytm. The offer applicable from February 14 to March 31, 2019, basically brings down effective all access annual cost of Rs 999 to Rs 349 – that’s less than Rs 1 per day.
