Vijaya Bank has opened recruitments for the position of Probationary Assistant Manager (Credit) in JMG Scale-I in the General Banking Scheme. To know all the details, visit here

Candidates selected for the above post will have to undergo a specially designed course through an institute selected by the bank.

The course, which will be for a three-month duration, is residential and selected candidates are required to stay on campus. They will be provided with a stipend of Rs 15,000 per month during this period.

At the end of the course an exit test will be conducted. Only, those candidates who pass the exit test by scoring the cut off marks as decided by the Bank will be offered appointment in the Bank as “Probationary Asst. Manager (Credit) in JMG Scale – I in General Banking Stream”.

Payment of application fee/Intimation charges is from September 12 to September 27. Online registrations will also open during the same period. The minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age is 30 years (as of August 1, 2018). However, there are age relaxations for OBC, SC/ST, armed servicemen, disabled, families of victims of 1984 riots, persons domiciled in J&K State during the period from Jan 1, 1980 to December 31, 1989.

Candidates belonging to OBC category but coming under creamy layer and/ or if their caste does not find place in the Central List are not entitled to OBC reservation. They should indicate their category as General in the online application form.

The exam will be two hours long and is divided into English, General Awareness with special reference to the banking industry, and financial management. Each section is 50 marks. Each right answer is one mark, while each wrong answer will result in a deduction of 0.25 marks.

The examination will be conducted online in the following centres (Tentative list): Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Panaji, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla and Thiruvananthapuram, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Guwahati.

The application fees for general category is Rs 600, while for SC/ST/PWD is Rs 100
