The Tata Group and the individual shareholders of Advinus Therapeutics today decided to sell the company to Eurofins Scientific for an undisclosed sum.

Advinus is owned by Tata Sons, Tata Industries and Rallis India and a few individual shareholders, the Tata Group said in a statement adding that they expect the transaction to close in the next several weeks. Advinus is a leading preclinical contract research company for safety assessment, CMC services, DMPK and analytical R&D services, while Eurofins is into contract research and development.

The Bengaluru-based Advinus serves diverse industries like biotech, pharma, biologics, agrochemicals, nutraceuticals and cosmetics.
