Food delivery giant Zomato's initial public offering (IPO) share allotment is likely to be finalised on Thursday, July 22, 2021, and its shares are likely to be listed next week on July 27 on both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The largest IPO in the current year 2021 received an overwhelming response from the investors with an oversubscription of 38.25 times during July 14-16.

The Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) subscribed to this issue 8 times over the three-day issue period. Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) subscribed to the Zomato IPO issue over 55 times while the non-institutional investors subscribed to it 34.80 times.

Zomato's grey market premium (GMP)

As per market observers, Zomato's grey market premium (GMP) has improved as it is in the range of Rs 16-17. The grey market is an unofficial platform, wherein trading starts after the announcement of the IPO price band till the listing of IPO shares.

The offer comprised a fresh issue of Rs 9,000 crore and an offer for sale of Rs 375 crore by Info Edge. Link Intime India Private is the registrar of Zomato IPO.

The Book Running Lead Managers (BRLM) are Kotak Mahindra Capital Company, Morgan Stanley India, Credit Suisse Securities (India), BofA Securities India and Citigroup Global Markets India Private Limited. Meanwhile, the sponsor bank is ICICI Bank.

How to check allotment status?

You will be able to check the allotment status on the website of BSE or on the website of its registrar Link Intime India Private Limited.

BSE website

Step 1: Visit the link: bseindia.com/investors/appli_check.aspx on BSE official website.

Step 2:  In the dropdown menu select 'Equity' for issue type.

Step 3: Now, select the name of the IPO, which is 'Zomato Limited' in this case.

Step 4: Here, you will be asked to verify application number & PAN number.

Step 5: Hit search button and you are good to go. You can see your IPO allotment on the screen.

Step 1: Visit Link Intime India Private Limited IPO allotment link: ris.Linkintime.com/ipostatus/.

Step 2: Again, select IPO Name- 'Zomato Limited'.

Step 3: Here, fill in details uch as PAN number, application number or DP ID.

Step 4: Now, click on 'Search' Button. You can now see your Zomato IPO Allotment on the screen.

The three-day IPO was launched on July 14, 2021, with an issue size of Rs 9375 crore and a price range of 72-76 per share.
