Roseate Hotels and Resorts today said it has acquired third hotel in the United Kingdom with buying of a property in Bath.

The company, however, did not disclose the amount for which it has purchased the property.

The two existing properties of the group are The Royal Park London a Roseate House hotel, and The Forbury Roseate in Reading, the company said in a statement.

Commenting on the development, Bird Hospitality Services Director Ankur Bhatia said: "Bath is an important market for us as it is one of the most visited cities and is amongst the major UNESCO World Heritage sites. Villa would be branded as The Roseate Villa Bath."

Part of the Bird Group, Roseate hotels and Resorts currently has four hotels, two each in the UK and India, with three under development in Rishikesh, Jaipur and Goa.
