Refined soya oil futures rebound 0.68% on spot demand

Refined soya oil prices rose by 0.68 per cent to Rs 648.10 per 10 kg in futures trading today as speculators created fresh positions driven by pick up in demand at spot market.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in September month rose by Rs 4.35, or 0.68 per cent to Rs 648.10 per 10 kg with an open interest of 24040 lots.

Likewise, the oil for delivery in August month moved up by Rs 3.95, or 0.62 per cent to Rs 642.75 per 10 kg in 52,860 lots.

Analysts said futures prices rise as traders created fresh positions after upsurge in demand at spot market.
