Refined palmolein slips on reduced demand

Refined palmolein slipped in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on reduced demand from stockists and retailers.

Elsewhere, castorseeds bold and castoroil oil commercial also declined owing to sluggish demand from soaps and shippers industries.

While, groundnut oil and linseed oil ruled steady in absence of any large-scale buying activity.

In the edible segment, refined palmolein edged down by Rs 4 per 10kg to Rs 551 as against Monday's close Rs 555 and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 840 per 10kg.

Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold moved down by Rs 10 per 100kg to Rs 4,740 as compared Rs 4,750 and castoil commercial softened by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 978 as against Rs 980 last Monday.

Linseed oil ended unaltered at Rs 750 per 10kg.
