Prices of thoor dal, urad dal, moong dal and gram dal fall while maida (90 kg) price go up, the prices of all other foodgrains ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrain market here today.

On the opening day thoor dal opened at Rs.7,500 less by Rs.300 per quintal from its closing rate Rs.7,800.

Urad dal opened less by Rs.500 per quintal to Rs.7,500 from Rs.8,000.

Moong dal was down by Rs.400 per quintal to Rs.6,800 from Rs.7,200.

Gram dal was low by Rs.200 per quintal to Rs.7,300 from Rs.7,500.

However, price of Maida (90 kg) was up Rs.100 to Rs.2,700 from Rs.2,600.

Sugar,wheat and sooji(90 kg) price ruled steady.

Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 7,500, Urad Dal Rs 7,500, Moong Dal Rs 6,800, Gram Dal Rs 7,300, Sugar Rs 4,080, Wheat Rs 2,600, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,700 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,200.
