The Mumbai Metro Line 4 will be a 32.3-km long elevated corridor with 32 stations, connecting Wadala with Kasarvadavali on Thane’s Ghodbunder Road. The total estimated cost of construction is Rs 15,549 crore.

This metro alignment will provide interconnectivity between the Eastern Express Highway, Central Railway, Mumbai Monorail, Metro 2B (D N Nagar and Mandale), Metro 5 (Thane to Kalyan), Metro 6 (Swami Samarth Nagar to Vikhroli) and Metro Line 8 (Wadala to GPO).

A few years ago, Louis Berger was rocked with international bribery scandal and its officials had pleaded guilty in a US court on having bribed top officials in several countries to win government projects. One of the countries involved was India, wherein a minister in Goa government was bribed to secure several water and developmental project contracts as technical consultant.
