Key indices on Monday opened on a colourless note over mixed global cues. Asian markets were trading mixed after data released earlier in the day showed China's services sector PMI dropped to 21-month low in September.
At 10:38 AM, the BSE Sensex was trading at 94.25 points to reach at 31,908.47 up by 0.30%.
Nifty on the other hand, was up 10,007.80 (up by 28.10 points), to go up by 0.28%.
Tata Steel was among the top gainer, rising 1.72 per cent to Rs 431.50.

Sectoral indices took strength from consumer durables, FMCG, healthcare and auto stocks, trading higher by up to 2.12%. The NSE index Nifty too edged higher by 10.10 points, or 0.10%, to 9,989.80.
Besides, domestic institutional investors pumped in funds unabated.
The big gainers that supported the key indices include Tata Steel, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank and Coal India, rising by up to 1.63%.
