While the first tranche of the announcement on Wednesday focused on MSME sector, the second tranche announced on Thursday had packages migrant workers, street vendors and small farmers.

Earlier, sources said the third tranche might also focus on helping the animal husbandry, dairy farming and fisheries industry. Sitharaman held a series of talks with Minister of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries Giriraj Singh regarding this over the last week.
