Gur (jaggery) prices ended unchanged at the wholesale market in the national capital today following sluggish demand amid thin stocks.

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also logged scant activity.

Marketmen said weak demand in the off-season along with a pause in supplies held gur prices at overnight levels.

Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal): Gur chakku Rs 3,500-3,600, pedi Rs 3,700-3,800, dhayya Rs 3,800-3,900 and shakkar Rs 4,000-4,100.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,575-2,625, chakku Rs 3,100- 3,200, khurpa Rs N.Q. and Ladoo Rs 3,250-3,300.

Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,350-3,400 and dhayya Rs 3,400- 3,450.
