Fuel demand rises for third straight month in February

India's fuel demand rose nearly 4% last month as free cooking gas connections spurred LPG consumption while petrol and diesel use continued to rise, data from the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell of the oil ministry showed

6.7 mn tn – Diesel consumption rose 8% y-o-y during the month

2.25 mn tn – Petrol consumption

2.2 mn tn – LPG consumption jumped 14.2% on-year

6.8 L tn – Aviation turbine fuel consumption rose 10.5% on-year
