CB Insights is a company that keeps track of startups. It tracks all kinds of startups; from the ones that provide cybersecurity, navigation apps to the ones that connect patients to providers of medical aid.

CB Insights recently sifted through a vast variety of information to make a list of 50 private companies from across the world, that are on their respective ways to a $1 billion valuation.

The latest harvest of startups that are on the path to shine as unicorns are not only diverse in the efforts but are strongly focussed on the use of software and support of women.

The list to glory includes five Indian firms. These companies are; Razorpay, in Bangalore, Practo Technologies, Bangalore, DailyHunt, Bangalore, ClearTax, Bangalore,  and CarDekho Group, Jaipur.

While almost every startup has its own inspiring tale, not all make a mark to go down in history. The $1 billion mark is a humble start for these startups to attain bigger goals. According to sources, Angel investors must keep backing such startups.
