Most of the base metals rose at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists' buying amid persistent demand from industrial users.

While, tin dipped owing to reduced offtake from alloy industries.

Nickel climbed by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 715 from Friday's closing level of Rs 705, lead rose by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 159 and zinc gained by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 221.

Brass utensils, Aluminium ingots and Aluminium utensils moved up by a Re per kg to Rs 286, Rs 151, Rs 123 as against Rs 285, Rs 150 and Rs 122.

However, Brass sheet cuttings dropped by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 306 from Saturday's close of Rs 308, Copper sheet cuttings edged down by a Re per kg to Rs 375 and copper utensils softened by a Re per kg to Rs 360.

Tin declined by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,365 from Saturday's closing level of Rs 1,370.
