When most of the country was asleep, a spirited lot in Mumbai took to the streets to participate in the third edition of Zee Business BSE Bull Run. The 6-km run, which celebrates India's vibrant economy, started from Bandra Kurla complex in the wee hours of Sunday and saw participation from 10,000 people.

The run was flagged off at 6.30 am by an eminent group of personalities who had gathered to support, motivate and inspire marathoners. Among them was Bollywood actor and fitness enthusiast Vidyut Jammwal who warmed up the gathered crowd with his inspiring tricks and shared a few health tips with the runners too.

"Zee Business BSE Bull Run is celebration of India's vibrant economy which is about to take a giant leap. It is a pioneering initiative by Zee Business & BSE to engage the common man and retail investors with India’s growth story. Every year this celebration of  India Inc before the budget sets the tone for our massive Budget Campaign. This year due to thumping response the event had to be moved to MMRDA Grounds from traditional venue of Dalal Street which speaks volumes about its brand equity and the excitement it brings to our audiences,” said Mihir Bhatt, Deputy Editor of ZEE Business.

Mumbai is known for its economic and financial growth and the people behind it were also actively involved in the run. S Ravi, Chairman, BSE, spoke to ZEE Business and said, "Healthy India and healthy economy are two most important aspects of our nation and both will be in action today. Healthy India, healthy index and healthy BSE that is the way it is."

"Indian economy is growing in a healthy fashion but sometimes we tend to ignore our personal health, especially the folks in financial markets who are glued to computer screens day in and day out resulting in several health concerns, so must be careful about our health too," said Ashish Chauhan, MD & CEO, BSE.
