Yuvraj Singh gifts a bat to Angad Bedi

Angad Bedi, who will seen in The Zoya Factor next, will soon start prepping for his role as a cricketer. And contrary to reports about a fall-out between him and his close friend —former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, we have learnt that the latter gifted him a bat when he heard that Angad is playing a cricketer in the film. In fact, Angad dismisses the stories of problems between the two as “rubbish.” “I am happy to embark upon the journey of The Zoya Factor with the support and love of my friend, my brother Yuvraj,” he says. 

About the bat gifted to him, Angad shares, “This is the YWC Bat (Yuvraj’s YouWeCan Foundation). They have come up with a special edition for cricket gear and I have been actually chasing Yuvraj for a long time to give me a bat. He had said when the time was right, he would gift it to me himself. I am glad that he signed this bat personally for me because now that I am doing a project which is based on cricket, I think this is going to come really handy. I am going to use this during my practice sessions and also in the matches that I am going to play on the field at the same time which will also be showcased in the film.” 

Angad will be playing the role of ex cricket captain who is replaced by Dulquer Salmaan. Also, starring Sonam K Ahuja, the film is based on a book by Anuja Chauhan. They start shooting for the film in Mumbai by the end of next month.
