It's been a few months since Ileana D'Cruz and beau Andrew Kneebone part ways. The news started making the rounds when the estranged couple unfollowed each other on social media pages and also deleted posts with each other. Earlier talking about the breakup, Ileana had told The Times of India, "I went to a therapist and she told me to accept the compliments. I have accepted myself now and I am doing well, but staying in love is a different thing. Having a partner makes you feel calm and secure, but your mental well-being is far more important."

Now during an interaction with Pinkvilla, she stated, "For me, it's always been about the fact that when you are in a relationship, it's not just you. It's two people. So you cannot be just one person saying stuff. You are technically talking for the other person too and it's not fair. You need to respect their privacy too.  While I'm okay dealing with criticism and trolls, it's unfair for the other person to be subjected to that."

Ileana added, "I don't get upset. When you are going through a situation like this, you understand the value of your family and friends. It's the same that happened to me. I had my family and closest friends supporting me right through it."

Earlier when TOI had asked Ileana about falling in love again, she had said, "I am not ready for love, I am very happy where I am. I am falling in love with myself."
