Sonakshi Sinha lauds Taapsee Pannu's response after Kangana Ranaut called her 'B-grade actress'.
Kangana Ranaut in a recent interview had called out Aditya Chopra, Karan Johar, and Mahesh Bhatt's in Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case and also had called the likes of Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhasker "B-grade actresses".
Now Taapsee took to her Twitter account and hit back at Kangana saying, "Hi @RichaChadha @ReallySwara someone is really concerned about our bills n our EMIs. Such a kind compassionate industry. So much respect for our ‘B grade’ struggle."
The tweet started a debate on Twitter wherein Vivek Agnihotri also joined in and wrote, "एक अकेली heroine ने बॉलीवुड के अनैतिक कारनामों के ख़िलाफ़ ज़रा सी आवाज़ क्या उठा दी सारे B-Z गैंग के लोग आ गए उसका character-assassination करने और cheerleaders ग़ुलामों को बचाने। A ग्रेड क्यों नहीं आए? मूर्ख इतने अवल दर्जे के की उसकी बात को ही साबित कर दी की हाँ एक माफिया तो है। (One heroine raised her voice against unethical practices in Bollywood and all the people of the B-Z gang came to do her character assassination and save the cheerleaders. In response to this, Kangana team on Instagram replied to Vivek's tweet saying, "They will send these sidekicks because they won’t let A-listers get trolled, and these B fools happily getting trolled and exposed that too for petty favours from mafia but we mustn't let them deviate us from the real issue which is to get Justice for Sushant."
On the other hand, Sonakshi Sinha recently had come out in support of Taapsee, hailing her "dignified and matured" response. She tweeted, "Proud of you @taapsee! The dignity, maturity, and integrity with which you have responded has my respect and I am sure of most others too. More power to you."
