There's some good news for all the Hrithik Roshan fans. The actor's January release Kaabil is all set to have its Hollywood remake. The movie also starred Yami Gautam as Hrithik's leading lady.

As per a report on MidDay, Sanjay Gupta confirmed the news saying that 20th century Fox has approached Hrithik for the right of the film. He was quoted as saying, "“It’s true that Fox, through Tomas Jegeus (President, Fox International Productions), has approached Hrithik. Even though the developments are too premature to talk about at this moment, it is an honour for the team. What is also exciting is that Kaabil has been declared the best film of [the first half of] 2017 via an online poll. So, it’s a double win for us.”

An insider told the tabloid that Hrithik got a call from Tomas who wanted to purchase the remake rights of the film. They apparently felt that the movie has all the ingredients required for a great Hollywood entertainer. Reportedly, Hrithik is to discuss the matter with father Rakesh Roshan on coming back from New York.

Expressing his excitement about Kaabil's Hollywood remake, Rakesh Roshan told the tabloid, "The screenplay was hard-hitting, and the drama, gripping. It would make for a wonderful Hollywood adaptation, given that it has all the necessary emotions. It struck gold at the box-office because it was about a visually-impaired lover seeking revenge."

Though, it's almost certain that the film will have a Hollywood remake, but will Hrithik will be a part of it too? That's the million dollar question that remains to be answered.
