When Akshaye got emotional on the sets of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs

Akshaye Khanna, who made his first every appearance on a reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs, was moved to tears with one particular performance.

Says a source from the sets, “While all the boys sang Akshaye’s songs, Dhroon Tickoo chose to sing the popular track Ruk Jana Nahin Tu Kahin Haar Ke picturised on the late Vinod Khanna. While he was singing, images of Akshaye and his father together from their younger days were being shown in the background. Hearing the song, and looking at the pictures Akshaye got extremely emotional remembering his father. He was seen wiping his eyes, during the performance. He later shared that the song was his father’s favourite.” He also praised Dhroon saying, “I am so glad that I could see you performing this song live as it was absolutely mesmerising.”
