What's this cow doing on the catwalk?: Sonakshi Sinha reveals she was body-shamed by a celebrity model

Sonakshi Sinha is grabbing a lot of eyeballs these days, thanks to her recent outing with designer friends Manish Malohtra, on Neha Dhupia's chat show, BFFs with Vogue. Sona made quite a few revelations while chatting up with Neha. 

From mistakenly confirming that Alia Bhatt and Shidharth Malhotra are a couple, to narrating an incident when she was body-shamed in the beginning of her career in showbiz, the Dabangg actress seemed to be in a tell-all mood.

During one of the segments on the chat show, Sonakshi revealed that she has been body-shamed by one of the celebrity models, early on in her showbiz days when she had just begun walking the ramp. She shared that she was called a 'cow' by this celeb model who's also a columnist. 

"What is this cow doing on the catwalk…?," Sona was told by the model. When prodded again for the name, it was Manish Malhotra who revealed, "Ahh Shamita Singha!”​

Sonakshi, who's lost over 30 kgs before making her debut in Salman Khan's Dabangg and is an inspiration to many who're struggling to lose weight, has always been under the scanner owing to her weight issues. The actress concluded saying "It isn't nice..."

In one of her previous interviews with a daily, Sona had also shared that she was also bullied in school for being overweight as a teenager. But the actress also said that she's learnt how to tackle the haters by blocking them away and not giving any importance to them.
