'What I want to wear is my right': Nushrat Bharucha on her recent green pelvage attire

Nushrat Bharucha turned heads during the recently held Filmfare Awards Curtain Raiser. The actor donned a green gown by Yousef Akbar in which she flaunted her pelvage with a slit till the waistline. Nushrat shared a series of photos on her Instagram page with a caption stating, "Bringing sexy back!". While many lauded her for the bold look, several of them went on to troll her too. With this look, Nushrat even showed off her intimate tattoo which became a topic of discussion on the Internet.

She further shared how fraternity reacted to it while saying, "We’d never be able to do this, great that you could carry this off."

The Dream Girl actor also spoke about how confident she felt by sharing, "I did it for myself. I didn’t think people are going to praise me, or it will become the talk of the town. I wore a dress, attended the function, had fun, came home. I don’t get bothered at all. I don’t read the comments. I just put it out there and leave it."

Bharucha went on to say, "If this dress didn’t fit well or fall right, I wouldn’t be wearing it. It had nothing to do with how bold it was. If it didn’t look good on me, I would not have not worn it." She concluded by stating, "When I put this dress on, I was comfortable in it, and that’s why I was able to carry it off. I knew what I was wearing, and I had to be careful."
