Priyanka Chopra will be seen on 'The Kapil Sharma Show' to promote her upcoming film,'The Sky is Pink'. They met after a long time and had much to discuss including Nick Jonas's greeting manners.
Priyanka Chopra is currently in India for the promotions of her upcoming film, The Sky is Pink. The actress during promotions was on the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show with the comedian. A video from the episode of Kapil and Priyanka amid a hilarious conversation was shared on social media. The two met after a long time and had much to talk about from their weddings and their partners.
Kapil on the show asked Priyanka about her life after marriage and her husband Nick Jonas. He wished to know how Nick greets Madhu Chopra, his mother in law. “Accha Nick jo hain woh aapki mummy ko aise milte hain jaise India mein milte hain damaad? Aise paer chooke? Ya hawa mein air kiss karke? (Does he touch her feet like sons-in-law do it in India or do they exchange air kisses),”
To which Priyanka says, “Dono ke beech mein. Bechara hug karta hai (Neither. He gives her a hug).” Priyanka also expressed how she was angry with Kapil for not attending her wedding, on which Kapil cracked a few more jokes which had the audience in splits.
The clip is part of an episode which will air this weekend before Priyanka's next release The Sky is Pink on October 11, 2019. The film also stars Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf in lead roles. Directed by Shonali Bose, the film was premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2019.
The Sky is Pink follows motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary as she tells the tale of her parents Aditi and Niren's love story. Aisha Chaudhary passed away in 2015 after being diagnosed of pulmonary fibrosis, a lung condition. The film will be Priyanka's big return to Bollywood screen since 2016. She was last seen in Hollywood feature releases like Baywatch, A Kid Like Jake and Isn’t It Romantic.
