Onir’s next, Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz is already receiving rave reviews from those who have seen the film so far. The film is Onir’s first ever complete romantic drama set in Kolkata, set against the backdrop of the romance in the age of technology and social media.

The story is that of RJ Alfaaz played by debutant Zain Khan Durrani and Archana, a digital meme artist played by Geetanjali Thapa who accidentally talk to each other owing to case of classic wrong number. What follows is a fun romance brewing over apps, messages and phone talks, perfectly summing up love in the times of social media these days.

 

It was also recently reported that the makers managed to get the rights to the song and footage from Mansoor Khan, to use the song Pehla Nasha in the film. The song which was the perfect romantic ballad of the early 90s from the film Jo Jeeta Wohi Wahi Sikandar featuring Aamir Khan and is still prevalent today as the perfect song for a perfect romantic setup.

 

Now the song which was originally composed by Jatin-Lalit and sung by Sadhana Sargam and Udit Narayan has been recreated musician Anshuman Mukherjee and the vocals have been given by Jubin Nautiyal and Palak Muchhal.
