Watch: Ranveer Singh introduces wife Deepika Padukone as his new 'cheerleader'

Deepika Padukone, who has always taken the internet by storm with her performances, is here to steal the limelight again by cheering for husband Ranveer Singh. Taking to his Instagram, Ranveer shared a video of his 'cheerleader' wife.

Donning a white shirt with a glass of wine, Deepika can be seen cheering for his recent release, Simmba as she recites a popular line from the film, 'Ae Aaya Police.' He captioned the video writing, "My Cheerleader @deepikapadukone."

The video comes after Simmba, which also stars Sara Ali Khan, roared at the box office as it entered the 200 crore club in just 12 days. Apart from Ranveer and Sara, the movie's cast also includes Sonu Sood - who portrays the role of the antagonist in the action flick - and Ajay Devgn - who has a cameo.

The flick is a remake of the 2015 Telugu blockbuster 'Temper' starring N.T. Rama Rao Jr. Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in two traditional, dreamy ceremonies in November last year, six years after their first film 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela.'
