Watch: Ranveer Singh and his team of '83 The Film' prep hard for Good Friday release next year

Kabir Khan's movie '83 has constantly been in news, first for its casting, and now for the practice videos taken on the sets. Ranveer Singh and other team members of the movie keep on sharing practice videos of the original players training the movie cast.

Ranveer Singh  took up Kabir Khan's much-awaited project 83 among giving back-to-back hits with 'Padmaavat', 'Simmba' and 'Gully Boy'. The actor too was training with Kapil Dev, who was the captain during India's 1983 World Cup win.

Ranveer is currently training for the film in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh along with the cast. The makers of the film recorded a video from their training and also announced that the movie would release on Good Friday next year.

Co-incidentally Good Friday falls today according to 2019 calendar, and it would fall on April 10 in 2020. Sharing the video, Ranveer wrote, “The incredible untold story of India’s greatest victory! 10th April 2020- Good Friday #Relive83 @83thefilm @kabirkhankk.”

While Ranveer Singh will play the lead directed by Kabir Khan, the film also stars Ammy Virk as Balwinder Singh Sandhu, Saahil Khattar as Syed Kirmani, Jiiva as Krishnamachari Srikanth as Men in Blue and Pankaj Tripathi as manager PR Man Singh. Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu and R Badree are the recent additions to the team.
