WATCH | 'PadMan' Akshay Kumar-Radhika Apte's romance in 'Aaj Se Teri' song reminds us that love lies in simplest things

The trailer of PadMan has already impressed us with a superstar batting for basic rights of women. The trailer of Akshay Kumar, Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor's film has already garnered fabulous response with 25 million views in just 5 days.

Now, the makers have released the first song from the film. The song 'Aaj Se Teri' captures the love life of newly weds in the film. Featuring Akshay and Radhika in the roles of Laxmikant Chauhan and Gayatri Choubey, the song beautifully captures how love lies in the simplest things. Filmmaker R Balki has managed to capture the beauty of a North Indian village and the simple joys of couple living there.

The saccharine voice of Arijit Singh and the beautiful lyrics by Kausar Munir has done the magic once again. Tagline says 'Superhero Hai Ye Pagla' and to top that the way he helps his wife wash clothes and saves her from tears every time she has to cuts onions is just adorable. 

Based on the life of Tamil Nadu-based social activist, Arunachalam Muruganantham. PaDman features Akshay Kumar will be seen finding a way to make cheap, affordable sanitary napkins for the women in his village. The film marks the debut Mrs Funnybones Movies banner.

PadMan is all set to hit screens on January 26, 2018, and will lock horns with Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee-starrer Aiyaary at the box office.
