One of most striking scenes of the recently-released 'Dhadak' song 'Pehli Baar' is the one where a dreamy-eyed Madhukar (Ishaan Khatter) unflinchingly jumps into a pond, where Parthavi (Jhanvi Kapoor) is having a swim with her friends.

A remake of 'Yad Lagla' from the Marathi blockbuster 'Sairat', 'Pehli Baar' is not just melodious but also a visual treat for the audience. While the fans continue to enjoy it on loop, the makers of the film released a behind-the-scenes video on July 7 where director Shashank Khaitan is seen decoding Ishaan's epic jump.

In the video, Ishaan reminisces that when he had gone to ask Shashak to brief him on the jump, the only thing the director had said was, “Ishaan don't think about it so much, just jump..” The actor didn't have an iota of an idea that the pond he was jumping into was filled with snakes. He was just told about one snake being spotted some time ago in the pond.

Jhanvi recalls that the water was numbing cold and how they were all shivering during the shoot. It was 80 feet deep and was surrounded by stairs that were made of stone. Hence it was crucial for Ishaan to jump at a particular angle otherwise he could have got critically injured. And as if all this wasn't enough, he was also asked to maintain a love-struck expression throughout the scene!
