Watch: Bride-to-be Sonam Kapoor blushes as Anupam Kher wishes her 'congratulations much in advance'

Bollywood is gearing up for the band, baaja and baraat as Sonam Kapoor is all set to tie the knot with her longtime beau Anand Ahuja on May 8th. Not just the Kapoor family even their family friends like Anupam Kher are showering bride-to-be with love and affection.

Anupam Kher who is extremely close to her dad Anil Kapoor met Sonam on Thursday evening and shared an aww-dorable video message for her. Kher took to Instagram and wrote,“Bride to be. My dearest darling @sonamkapoor. Choti si bachchi dekhte dekhte badi ho gayi." Of course, he has worked with daddy in films like Laadla, Mr Bechara and Tezzab and Anupam Kher has also acted in Sonam Kapoor's films like 'Mausam' and 'Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo'.

In the video, we can see Sonam sitting on a chair, pretending to be busy on her phone as Kher captures her on his phone with a bag with sachet which reads 'bride-to-be' kept near her.  Kher can also be heard saying “Look at this beautiful girl." while Sonam sticks her tough out and even gives him a ‘V for victory’ sign. Super cute!

Sonam and Anand Ahuja ended months of speculation and confirmed their wedding with an official statement which reads “The Kapoor and Ahuja families take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the May 8 in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family’s need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love as we celebrate this special moment in our lives.”
