Watch: Ajay Devgn-Tabu feature in hilarious meme shared by Smriti Irani

It is not hidden that Union Minister Smriti Irani has a strong connection to the film and Television industry. She is most remembered as the lead aka Tulsi from 'Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'. Despite achieving a position in politics, Smriti meets Ekta Kapoor and other celebrities from time-to-time, more so often too.

Much like a layman, Smriti too seemed to be eager for the weekend to come along, and she used a Bollywood reference to convey the message. Taking to Instagram, Smriti Irani shared the video song of 'Aaiyee Aapka Intezaar Tha' featuring Ajay Devgn and Tabu.

The video signifies that much like Tabu, everyone was waiting for the weekend, which comes in the form of Ajay Devgn in the very popular song. Sharing the video, Smriti wrote, "Greeting the weekend be like ... (a tribute from those working this weekend)."
